This program, supported by Google.org, has been designed to address the urgent need for media and information literacy skills among the youth, cultivating a generation that can discern fact from fiction in today’s digital age.
In the year 2023, DigiReady Philippines sets forth on an ambitious journey, aiming to accomplish two paramount objectives. Firstly, we are launching an online campaign that embodies the essence of the ADLP’s vision. This multifaceted initiative encompasses a social media campaign, engaging a diverse range of platforms, and the establishment of a vibrant community of practice (CoP). We envision bringing together over 100 organizations and student councils across the nation, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing towards a united front against misinformation.
As we venture further, DigiReady Philippines is thrilled to announce the inaugural DigiReady Summit—an eagerly anticipated face-to-face event. This momentous occasion will serve as a melting pot of knowledge and expertise, featuring insightful talks, thought-provoking programs, and immersive workshops led by industry experts. The DigiReady Summit will provide an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to dive deep into the realms of digital literacy, expanding their understanding and honing their skills to become true champions in combating misinformation.
